Sounds good to me. Just be sure to show things that aren't immediately apparent to someone reading your resume. I did something similar and it worked very, very well for me.

It kind of helps to know what field your talking about and the specifics of how your going to, as you say "bridge the gap" or whatever from this field to law school. Your post is pretty vague.
