Risk of posting PS?

Post by 3|ink » Tue Jun 22, 2010 1:05 pm

How risky is it? I don't mind criticism, but I fear the possibility that an admissions person will see it here and then see it again when I submit my application. I have a funny feeling that would harm my chances.

I don't think I will be posting mine on here for the simple reason that you don't know who is on here. You can never be sure that people on internet forums are who they say they are. TLS is no exception.

People pay for revision services, honestly TLS isn't too far from asking a friend or a teacher to read over something for you. If you really feel worried, do it through PMs. I posted mine here, and I had no problems. I actually attribute my reach acceptances to the suggestions that TLS posters made to my PS.
