what does PS actually entail? Forum

so ive been looking around for PS advice but theres just one more thing im totally oblivious to.

what exactly does the PS ask? I mean what does it specifically ask of you? I want to start thinking
about it but I realized I could never find out what it asks specifically. I know its a "personal statement"
but is there a specific question they ask?

2) also, is it the same thing across all schools?
