a letter of continued interest or a letter of continuing interest?
I know stupid question but I want to make sure I use the proper form.

i think it's "continued".
it may be "continuing" when referring to multiple letters (plural).
I don't think it's a huge deal either way, but I do think that it's "continued".

also, i bet i know exactly why you asked. I see in the hold letter where it says "letters of continuing interest". it made me think the exact same thing you are thinking about which is the correct phrasing.
