No, but you implied his were generic and that is why they were stolen. You also assume the thief isn't completely retarded in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Your stance has softened considerably, so apology accepted?soj wrote:I didn't claim that only generic PSs could be stolen. OP I should also mention that I have two of the slowest hours of work of the year ahead of me, so any additional comedic material you can provide would be appreciated.thelawschoolproject wrote:Tiago Splitter wrote:I really want to know how the OP "caught on" to the thief.

Tiago, if you haven't already, view the OP's stats and list of schools she is applying to. That might make you smile.

Lol I love how ppl say "sue" likes its easy and free lol. Suing cost money and time, and even if you do win the thief will be told to pay you but not forced under certain terms.

Yeah . .. I know.
But, I didn't see that she was a URM. So maybe not that absurd.

Re: This user stole my PS and DS
You're right that most things that end up in a PS are unverifiable, but a unique PS might deter stealing even if the details aren't verifiable. Maybe the potential thief doesn't know whether these details are verifiable and won't want to risk copying. Maybe the PS reveals a unique or specific perspective that doesn't mesh well with the other components of a potential thief's applications.chimp wrote:My point is that very few things that would end up in a PS are verifiable.soj wrote:I didn't claim that only generic PSs could be stolen. Maybe in your rush to judge you thought I said "write something unique and personal because writing something generic was your problem last time LOL."soj wrote:And maybe write something unique and personal so it's not so easy to steal.
I don't think it's unreasonable to think some thieves might be calculating rather than steal indiscriminately.

Sorry to hear what happened OP. where's a Tyler durden meme saying steal someones PS. Author writes a better one. Anyways the guy claiming you said stole it seems unethical to begin with since he was asking since he is Cuban if he can mark the puerto rican box.
