Also took a spot in Terrace, paid the deposit. Just makes life a lot easier, plus they seemed pretty nice and reasonably priced, especially given most utilities are covered.

I will be looking for a roomate if I finally make my Hastings/USC decision... still torn. I live in LA now, so I know some of the areas, but am not too familiar with the USC area. I've been on the west side mostly. I know some MBA students at USC that commute in from the Brentwood area, and that doesn't seem like a pain at all. If people are considering living out in that area and are looking for a roomate, I'd be interested (pending I make my freakin decision... its killing me).

This might be a bit of a ridiculous question, but what do we have for options for tv service in Terrace? It's pretty damn important that I have a way to see Patriots games on Sunday, and it would suck if I couldnt get an HD feed.

I don't know if you guys are looking at 3rd parties for housing, but I would highly recommend against CalStudentHousing. I'm in an apartment that they rented to me (now we have a new property manager) and they are a nightmare! A friend of mine moved into a place recently and apparently they had a horrible gas leak (let's just say they were lucky they had the windows open and were away from the apartment a lot, or so I was told).

1: Yes, all USC housing (including terrace) comes with cable.... but it is shitty shitty shitty basic cable. No Pats for you.
2: Yes, Cal Student housing is a horrible shitty ripoff that you should avoid. It's owned by a sketchy Persian guy who will sell his soul for a penny.
