I'm 80% in...I'm deposited, and put in the parking permit request. I'm looking forward to getting out of the miserable midwest weather.

Count me in! I am really excited for the fall. Does anyone know much about northwest Tucson? I am considering a house-share in that neighborhood. It's around 25 minutes from campus, but I think it would be nice to have a place to come home to, apart from the university area.

yay!
I don't know about far out, but I'm looking at place in the Foothills around 5 miles from campus. Seems like a nice median between on-campus and off...
I have to admit, after living in NYC, the rent is AMAZING. I'm currently paying $3,400/month for 2BR, and I'm about to sign a lease on a 2BR/2BA house that's like 5 times the size for 900/month. Plus, my dog can have a real, live yard again!

No doubt, I'm paying a whole lot more on a mortgage in downtown St. Louis, so whatever my rent will be seems awesome.I have to admit, after living in NYC, the rent is AMAZING. I'm looking at places in the foothills as well. I agree with everything you say about the location.I don't know about far out, but I'm looking at place in the Foothills around 5 miles from campus. Seems like a nice median between on-campus and off...

Excellent, should be a good time...and I like the fact that we get a new building. It's like they made it for us

Yeah, they even said it would be ready early!
Although I'm renting a place from a law grad that now teaches a class there and I asked what she thought of the new building....and she sent me an email saying "You know we're going to be in temporary facilities for looong time, right?"
I'm really hoping she was just misinformed haha.

I hope she's misinformed because everything I've heard and read says that it'll be done in time for classes this fall.
