Hope that helps. At the ASW they said that those basic classes assume no prior knowledge... anyone who has taken finance or accounting can skip them.
I just can't bring myself to write this paper. I have all my quotes, I have my thesis, I just need to organize them all, which should take about an hour of intense thinking... but after that, the paper should fall together pretty fast. WHY CAN'T I JUST DO IT!?!?!

I'd love to, Sarge, but work interferes. Although I'm saved the effort of writing academic papers, finishing up my open reports requires quite a bit of writing.Have you been exposed? wrote:f you are sexually active, you may be concerned about being exposed to Ann Coulter. You may be able to reduce your risk of Ann Coulter by following the suggestions in the Prevention section of this topic.
If you have been exposed to Ann Coulter, your partner has told you that he or she has Ann Coulter, or your partner has symptoms of Ann Coulter, it is important to be evaluated by a health professional even if you do not have symptoms. Early diagnosis and treatment of Ann Coulter can reduce the risk of complications from the infection and reduce the risk of transmitting the infection.

There seem to be quite a few people still looking for Woodlands roommates on the Admitted Students Forum. Check to see if you have access yetSteelersandGators wrote:Hey everyone,

i'd probably be on more often, but i tend to only get on at work, and ever since i sent in my deposit, i've been having trouble summoning the will to come into the office. or is it that i've become better able to summon the will to stay home? one of those.

and OnceLost, you seem exceedingly capable of adding the Ann Coulter (STD) entry to wikipedia.

I want to take those basic business classes just so I understand finance. I just don't get economy and business, at all. Organic chemistry and physics, fine, but econ is just perplexing. I'd just be worried about my grades in the classes.

Somehow, this sounds like, "In Soviet Russia, gonorrhea gives Ann Coulter to you!"OnceLost wrote:Khordis, you don't give Ann Coulter gonorrhea. You give gonorrhea Ann Coulter...

economists do it discretely AND continuously.

Man, that's not cool. Ann Coulter is the reason Soviet Russia broke up. Stuff like that can really ruin relationships.shadowfish wrote:(I may be the only one still entertained by Soviet Russia jokes)
This could be a whole new internet game...take any article about a virulent disease or STD and replace the name of the disease with Ann Coulter. It's instant fun! Kinda like adding the phrase "in bed" to the end of fortune cookies or bible passages.Khordis wrote:and OnceLost, you seem exceedingly capable of adding the Ann Coulter (STD) entry to wikipedia.

Not to reroute the conversation from STDs, but... who would you consider the biggest names on the Virginia faculty? When I think of Chicago and Harvard certain names come to mind- who are those for Virginia? and/or who are you guys most interested in working with?

I'm interested in learning from Anne Coughlin. She has a couple of political stances I don't agree with, but I've run into her work when I was teaching self defense classes and I would like to see a criminal investigations class from a legal perspective. The new contracts prof, Geis, looks interesting, too. He worked for 5 years at a large management consultant firm (where my sister-in-law's boyfriend now works), so he'll have an interesting perspective about the intersection of law and business.
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

It took me like 50 minutes to get the Adam Smith reference in the first one. That is an Adam Smith reference, right?! and I love the second one!greygoose wrote: Economists are armed and dangerous: "Watch out for my invisible hands."

You can justify almost anything as a disease in public health. Ann Coulter would take some work, but I think it can be done. I fully support the motion to add "Ann Coulter" on a "list of STDs" page.
MissVirginia, if I knew anything, I would help, but I don't know the names of anyone at all, sorry! (yeah, I am going into law school basically clueless)

Now I feel like a failure because I couldn't name any law professors (from any school) to save my life... except for the ones who were at the UVA ASW, haha. But I was impressed by them!
