It is suddenly a lot more real! Nesker, by saying that you were about to post the same thing--does that mean you are in Section A too?

As far as financial aid goes, I thought it wasnt until the 22nd or so, but I have no idea where I got that date.

And for those of you not on facebook, ahem :-), there is a gathering planned tonight at 9:30 (I cant go-- I have to lay flooring) and then a planned outing on Friday night too.

All the sections are listed on the fall schedule. That registrar home page you scroll down and click on fall schedule and it all pops up.

Wow, I really need to join facebook. I'd be down for meeting up on Friday night for sure.

About financial aid, i think the federal loans might have been disbursed today. I checked my account on "just the facts" and i owed less than what i had previously owed. Not sure when the rest of the money comes, hopefully before i have to pay rent!

Campbell, I compared my schedule to the master schedule on the registrar's website (scroll down and click Fall Term Schedule). I'm not sure if this is the right way to do it, but it looked like i was a C. And your schedule sounds a lot like mine...

Now that we know our schedules, I don't suppose anyone has found a required book list or knows if the required books will be the same as last year?

.
What makes you think they were disbursed today? I see nothing indicating that loans have been processed.

If you click on my schedule ours are up now-- where before it just said they had been flexed to us. Then on the main home registrar page if you scroll down there is the complete fall schedule. I just matched up my classes and by process of elimination figured out I was A.

to be honest, i really have no idea what loans may or may not have been received by the school. i just noticed today that the amount i owe under "finances" is less than it was last week and i definitely did not send them a check. when i try to check the activity, it looks like nothing has happened though. i guess (i hope) it will all be clear in a few days.

Nesker and Leah, I'm in A too! Sweet!

I'm afraid having only 2 classes on Monday will not motivate me to do much work over the weekend, though. But I'm glad Friday afternoons are free!

Yep, I was already thinking the same thing. But tues/thurs are going to be tough. Really tough. Now how do we find a book list? I want to order online!

You can find a booklist at the Bookstore's website. It doesn't include ISBN numbers, though. You might have to search by course instead of schedule, though; at least for me, the search by schedule option came up with an error message.

Thanks.

I did that. Hmmph. Apparently none of my professors have listed their requirements yet.

I plan on hitting the bookstore tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find out, if they don't kick me out for writing down ISBNs. At my undergrad the people working at the bookstore would give me filthy looks for doing that, but when books cost 850 bucks, I don't really care.

Whoah....the archived exams from the library are available online. So for those of you who, like me, intend to take practice exams instead of doing shit like...uh...celebrating thanksgiving, you can just print them out and do it at home in the comfort of your own underwear. I'm so pleased.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
