I heard the economy singles are "tiny tiny" and are "a tough way to save a thousand bucks." She said the windows are like a foot square or something, and most are "tucked away" on the fourth floor. But, unless you're dying to throw a couple of keg parties in your bedroom, I wouldn't sweat it too much..

Thanks Wilson. I finally just called her and got a person on the phone. Economy singles are about 100sq ft. That's 10 x 10 for those of you who are going into law because you can't do math. Tiny. I'm assuming some of us got them because there weren't enough singles left. Argh!

I chose UMich for a lot of the same reasons as previous posters (collegial, student-oriented atmoshphere and interesting classmates, etc.) and I told the adcom that in my "Why Mich" essay. I guess they liked it, cuz they let me in. I can't wait to get out there.

as far as how I feel: well, I feel like I've been so busy with goodbye's, moving, etc., that I haven't even had time to think about the nitty-gritty of law school academics. Its all just going to have to fall into place when I get to AA. (which arrival is delayed until tomorrow because my dumb car broke down in St. Louis today!)

yes I made it out. I had to sell my car for salvage, if you can believe it! anyway, I rented a car and pulled into AA last night. My sublet is great! Downtown is full of people and the weather is lovely. So, everything has basically worked out.

Ironically, now that I'm unemployed for the summer I find myself spending much less time on TLS...but I'm still around.
