Also, being in-state has its own little burdens.

Like paying personal-property tax on your car, which for me amounted to I think about $600 last year.

Well most of us out-of-staters will be legal residents of VA once we start law school so we will have to pay that tax.

so we won't get the 5k off tuition, but we will have to pay all sorts of crazy taxes?

Holly -- my dog will totally ignore your cat for awhile, but then they'd get along. He's kind of a snob when it comes to other animals. Other dogs will start barking and lunging at him, and he just sits there and stares at them like, "What's your problem?" But once he gets used to them, he starts to take a liking to them He gets along with my neighbor's cat quite well.

Edit: Who wants to make a "UVA Class of 2011 Pets" thread? J/k...

that works out great, because my cat is a snob too. she hates other cats- i don't know about dogs, actually. but as long as she can make my bedroom her undisputed territory, i think she'll be fine.
