The only problem with this years LSN data being accurate is my LSAT score will be like the 25th percentile

From the e-mailLxw wrote:Mentoring program eh? What is it about?
The Student Mentor Program matches interested first year students (1Ls) with a second or third year student (2L or 3L) who will serve as a mentor for the Fall Semester. The goal of the program is to help first year students navigate the challenges of the first year by connecting with an upper-level student who can supply information, advice and perspective during the first semester of law school. The program has been very successful in helping first year students adjust more easily to their new environment.
Each mentor is expected to meet with his or her mentee at least twice during the semester, and both mentors and mentees are encouraged to contact each other frequently. In addition, there will be a beginning of the semester social mixer and an end of the semester event (to be determined). Mentors are also available to answer questions and address concerns as they arise.

well, i have a mom prone to occasional incidents of extreme paranoia, so having a doorman/secure parking/etc made her happy. she lived in stl for a year or so like 30+ years ago, and imagines everything is still like it was back then.rezipsa wrote:Wow, nice amenities...BigLaw-esquestrawk wrote:after a hectic day driving all over town, i signed a lease at montclair in the cwe. so i'll be pretty much walking distance from a lot of the fun. i'm kiiiinda excited! i'm glad i got it all figured out before the housing fair happened and all the companies got swamped with appointments. i might even manage to get some furniture shopping in (yay for relatives with empty basements!) before i fly out at the ass crack of dawn on friday![]()

Sounds like we have quite a crowd living in the CWE. I have a place in the Carleton Building (frontdoorstl.com) located on Lindell just east of Euclid. I am really looking forward to the 2 block walk to Maryland Plaza.hwmyones wrote:Just got back to my hotel..My roommate and I signed a lease at a building called the Taylor-Olive building, shockingly it is on the corner of Taylor and Olive.
Citation? While the Chase Park Plaza looks like the building from Ghostbusters I don't think it was actually ever used in the movie.rezipsa wrote:... Random factoiod: That building on the right was used for Ghostbusters.

I'm there with you guys. I'm living virtually on the corner of Pershing and Newstead (just off the corner, on Pershing, to be exact), so about a 4-5 block walk to the Plaza for me.rhit2004 wrote:Sounds like we have quite a crowd living in the CWE.
