sigh... we found a place we really love that is 4 miles away, and not on a bus line... I hate this part of life...

Are you bringing a car there with you?neskerdoo wrote:sigh... we found a place we really love that is 4 miles away, and not on a bus line... I hate this part of life...
Paying for parking on campus could be worth it if you love it the place that much.

That stinks its not on a bus line. I'm so curious as to where it is-- I thought everywhere had at least one bus going to it. Is it bikable? I know someone that bikes 3 miles every day regardless of weather....he is a Phd student--not law.

Same here. Basement, technically, but it has good natural lighting and came with furniture.spanktheduck wrote:I'm living in a house that I think is down the hill (assuming that I am thinking of the right hill).joonbug wrote:Is anyone leaving in a "house," as in one of those numerous rented properties down the hill?

the place we like is all the way past Ithaca College on the other hill... I will have a car, and I don't mind paying the parking fee, but they make it sound like parking is impossible...
We're making another list of possibilities for a second quest...
But I don't know if I want other possibilities....
ugh...

Relying on parking kind of concerns me because even with the $700 parking pass, it doesn't guarantee that you can easily find a spot. I wouldn't want to spend 30 min every day trying to find a place to park with my special pricey pass.
