I don't. That's the problem. Utilizing my graduation money I never touched (from high school) and pending college graduation money. Writing a check to my boyfriend for my plane ticket for Hawaii (he bought it, I was paying him back) almost made me cry. I've never spent that much money at once...

But we got an excellent deal on the Thailand tickets. We agreed that I don't have to pay him back for it until after Hawaii so I can recoop

I payed for my tri-continent trip in, effectively, installments over the course of six months. One month I booked the NYC-London flight, the next the Shanghai-SFO flight, the next the European tour, etc.

Then again, I work full time, so it's a lot easier to save when you actually earn something that can be saved.

i'm trying to work with the rents' so i can get out of the next 3 yrs with no debt. i can't ask them to ford $ for vacations

you people should throw some of this extra cash my way . . . I part of that 40% of the school that doesn't get scholarship aid, and are privileged enough to pay for it all on loans.

I'm sorry you don't get scholarship aid, but even for those of us who do, it's still a lot of debt.

I've got a decent scholarship and I'm still gonna be $300k in debt when I graduate, which is more than most people who don't get a scholarship.

the shoes are kinda hurting, so i'm not sure if i'm going to wear heels. I'm not going to be dressy. Porbably jeans or a jean skirt.
