I was once recruited freshman year of college via FACEBOOK to work at Abercrombie. They wanted me to come in an interview based on my profile pic... but my gorgeous cousin was in the pic too, so they could have easily thought I was her (she fits their image much better). It was... odd. And not worth the money. So I never responded

I worked at a summer camp once? Which was awful, because I am by no means a children person... *shudders*

uh yea getting recruited for those types of jobs kinda makes you feel like a piece of meat. when i was in college i was shopping in hollister and was asked if i wanted a job ... the girl brought me to her manager, who looked me up and down and then goes "OK. want an application?"

i ran out of that store like there was no tomorrow.

That's still pretty flattering. The only place that's asked me to apply was Hooters (haha).

I worked with at risk 4-year olds and it was crazy. First off if you're already "at risk" when you're 4, then you're gonna be trouble. I really loved the kids, but they say/do some scary shit. For example, the kids were just hanging out and drawing and my little guy came over to show me his picture - it was a pic of him shooting a cop. Yikes!

I'm in a similar situation as some of you (yes, I've been reading these posts for a while haha) Finishing undergrad right now, have a bf who will be in NYC in the fall, am deciding on apartments in Charlottesville, and am generally very excited about UVA
