Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
Ok . . . so everyone somewhere in their next few posts, post up and say where you've decided to live, and whether or not you have a roommate already
I'll start my saying that myself and Bun B will be living in The Woodlands, with a 3rd roommate TBD.

The financial aid form, once I hit "submit." I printed it and sent it (since at the bottom, it says to send it to the financial aid office). I don't think it gets transmitted online (especially because when I went back to it today, it looked like it did before I even submitted it). If that makes sense.cantwaitforuva wrote:You sent a hard copy of what? Sorry, I'm confused!sialeeds wrote: I went ahead and sent the hard copy -- the harder I looked at it, the more it seemed like it needed to be sent. Better safe than sorry?
I am definitely living in a 3 bedroom (as a 2 bedroom + den) in The Woodlands (sent in my signed lease two days ago!), roommate to be determined. Hopefully Holly if she commits to UVA soon!

Welcome home Sialeeds! (Right?)
After visiting the law school this weekend, I wish I could just lease a seminar room and sleep in there, it's a very impressive building.
Ubuntu, use AIM! No more PM tag.

Pretty amenable as far as distance goes, but am pretty big on amenities (in-unit washer & dryer is big for me... off-street parking also big). Anybody have anythign with those and looking for a roommate?gladiator wrote:What are you looking for? (Walking distance or not, amenities, etc) A lot of people have divided into camps based on type of housing already.rsr28 wrote:I'm possibly looking for a roommate if anyone is interested. I'm kind of into finding a place myself (have some leads) but would be also possibly be down with hooking up with others who already have found somewhere. Anyone somewhat interested?

Now I'm in Birmingham because my flight was delayed tonight and I asked if I could switch to the flight tomorrow morning (I couldn't do this online because the credited funds I was using to buy my ticket expire today -- but it worked out in person!) So I am very happy right nowgladiator wrote:Welcome home Sialeeds! (Right?).

Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
I put in an app for a 2 BR in Arlington Townhomes (on Arlington Blvd.). As of now, I'm securing it and hoping my current roommate (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!) is able to get off the WL. So, I won't know much until early May, but if it drags past that, I'll likely have a space available, assuming I get the house to begin with.
EDIT: As a follow up, the dog to the left will likely only be around when my parents need to me to watch him for a few weeks. Unfortunately, he will not be a permanent staple.

I probably should have clarified that's a scene form "The Wire"
And ot answer your question, they're trying to catch the white one to return it for a reward.

I think this is the latest offensive in the War on Terror. Terrorist sympathizing carrier pidgeons will be captured and sent to Guantanamo so Bin Laden can't use them to send messages.cantwaitforuva wrote:They gonna eat that pidgeon?SgtBilko wrote:--ImageRemoved--

Yep, I am finishing up UG here... fun timesbauerahl wrote: Do you live/work in Baltimore?

Bilko -- I think I must be the only person who's never seen The Wire (at least in this area). Although I did see them filming an episode at my local grocery store at 3/4 AM (as I was staggering home after a late night). Their trailers were parked in front of my apartment building... it was an odd thing to see when my senses were impaired...
