Pshaw. With the exception of blurting out an expletive at the talent show because I was drunk and phlegmy (mm... tasty), I am more than adequate. You need to see me at karaoke night at Mother's. Either that, or I challenge you to Rock Band karaoke.

I don't know that it's necessarily because of high demand. They just don't know who's leaving til 60 days in advance, and they want to offer apts to people in the order that they expressed interest. There's also apparently a list just for NU students.

After doing some apartment searching today, I can tell you that there are a few places that have waitlists right now. Chicago has a 30-day notice to move out requirement but a lot of the bigger companies have a 60-day requirement. They'll start to have more notices in the next few days.

If you want, when we get emails from the listserv about openings, we can forward them along to you if you'll pm us your email addresses.

Oh my gosh, this made me laugh out loud. I thought all the people in Wigmore Follies were amazing, though! It will be a pleasure to go to school with such a talented bunch.

...this despite the fact that admissions emailed me an activation code. Not nice.

I really love that they use Gmail. I have used so many heinously designed school and company e-mail services! I always just fwd it to some Gmail account anyway.

It also makes gchatting incredibly easy... everyone's IM name is in the facebook, so if you see a classmate struggling with a question you've already got the means to toss them the answer. Like a ninja gunner. Tossing shurikens of legal knowledge.
