Re: UVA Class of 2011 Housing Thread
"University President John T. Casteen III announced the appointment of Professor Paul G. Mahoney as the next Dean of Law School on the morning of Monday, February 25. In his remarks after the announcement, Mahoney narrated a history of his recent predecessors and their impact on the school. He declared his desire to use the financial independence won by outgoing Dean John C. Jeffries, Jr. as a means to move the Law School into the Top Five of the national rankings."

TKM, look into this website: http://www.hrs.virginia.edu/employment.html . Whether its the academic side or the medical center, UVA is always hiring all types of people to do all types of jobs. Also, look into the NGIC. The county just approved a relatively large expansion plan they proposed which includes hiring several more employees.

Yeah I like the approach he is taking. It seems that an unusually high amount of acceptances were offered significant money. That money may be enough to sway kids from schools like chicago, nyu, and columbia.RudyGay wrote:Did yall see thatone of dean mahoney's goals is to get Virginia ranked in top 5?

No. It was sitting serenely in a faux-pond created by the rain this weekend. I felt kind of bad for it...aguyingeorgia wrote:Excellent. EXCELLENT. MUAHAHAHAHAH!sialeeds wrote:Guy -- I saw a duck while I was hobbling to class today, and I thought of you

Tkm, for every minute you spend hesitating on coming to UVA, guy spares one duck. And you wouldn't like guy when he spares ducks.

Tkm, my heart will be broken if you don't come to UVA, after scheming with Holly about Gossip Girl cocktail parties. Plus, Holly could leave us any day for NYU. I can't handle thisssss, ahhhhh!
Small wonder UVA is 60% guys -- girls want to be closer to their boyfriends, and their boyfriends aren't in Cville!

One of the places I'm looking at requires that "you or a representative" inspect the apartment before signing a lease.
Anyone in Charlottesville want to make a cool $30 just to check out a place on Arlington Blvd? You'd get comped even if its a rat's nest and you have to advise against signing.
PM if interested. Thanks!

Actually, I stand corrected about Rudy Gay. Oldblue can keep his mind in the gutter.
I would maybe play basketball, 5'9"-5'10", definitely not a star.
