Negotiating scholarships after being admitted off WL

Post by pike25 » Mon Jun 26, 2017 2:33 pm

I was wondering if I can re-negotiate my scholarship where I currently deposited if I get admitted to a T-14 off the WL?

What's the best way to go about it? Just send an email to admissions saying "hey I got offered admission at blah blah and unless you give me more money I'm taking it"?

Yepp. Similar but slightly different situation for me, I was deposited at a t13, got into a different t13. I ask the new school for more money or I would stay at the school I deposited at, and they obliged. Then I asked the school I deposited at for more money or I would attend the new school, and they declined. I'm now going to go to the school I got off the WL at. I didn't lie to either school, so I would say that you should also not lie. Don't tell them you'll jump ship unless you mean it
