CSS Payment
Hi all,
How, if at all, can I not pay $16 per application? I'm appalled by this.
Thx

Don't think so - I had an LSAC fee waiver last year and still had to pay that fee dispite the actual app fees being waived. Also, CSS price last year was $30 ... did it go DOWN in price?

Hmm, okay. How did you decide which schools to do CSS for? Or did you do all?magnum_law wrote:Don't think so - I had an LSAC fee waiver last year and still had to pay that fee dispite the actual app fees being waived. Also, CSS price last year was $30 ... did it go DOWN in price?

I'm even more appalled by having to pay this for schools that I haven't even been admitted to!

It's Cornell's first year using CSS, and they said they are working on getting waivers in place next year fwiw. I think of it as the cost of doing business, since everyone who's filling one out is already admitted (i.e., don't see the use of filling one out pre-admission).

OP - Yes those CSS fees were annoying but turned into $60k of financial aid for me. Keep your head up.
