How to securely send tax returns?
Cornell wants us to "forward" me and my parent's tax returns to the office of admissions and financial aid. How do people normally send this? Through the mail, or through an encrypted email...?

I actually emailed them about this on Friday! Waiting on a response from them, but I'm curious as to how other people have done it.

Cool! I hope someone here replies, but if not please let me know what they say! I was thinking maybe I could fax it but I don't actually know how to use a fax machineReadyToStart wrote:I actually emailed them about this on Friday! Thanks for the response! Did you encrypt it with a password? They have everyone's SSN on them.runinthefront wrote:You can email it.

You can do that. Just send the password in a separate email.Keilz wrote:Thanks for the response! Did you encrypt it with a password? They have everyone's SSN on them.runinthefront wrote:You can email it.

The thing is, no matter how you send the info it will end up in the school’s database and when the school is hacked….
(In the end it doesn’t matter how it was sent.)
