COA Adjustment

Anyone have any tips on COA adjustments? My school says they consider them in November. I am planning to include the cost of my laptop, medical visits not covered by insurance and my housing which is a little more than the allotted per month amount. I think I got a good price on my apt so it may just be area, not sure..
