Negotiating off of other people's offers

Post by BDMPKT » Wed Apr 27, 2016 5:50 pm

So I'm currently try to negotiate for more scholarship money and beyond my personal leverage (other offers from ~equal schools for more money, admission at higher ranking schools) I've spoken with a number of people who have been offered substantially better scholarships with very similar profiles. Is there any way to realistically use this kind of information as leverage or is that, to use a terrible joke that should get me kicked off of this site, inadmissible evidence?

Didn't think so (my wife gave me a similar reaction). The lesson here, mostly, is don't rage post.
