Best Practice for Requesting X Amount of Money

Post by vested » Thu Apr 07, 2016 6:40 pm

What's the consensus best practice for asking a school for a particular amount of money? I realize I shouldn't sound entitled or like I'm presenting an ultimatum, and that generally this is a last resort after using other leverage.

But basically, is there a tactful way/is it advisable to say: With a scholarship amount of X, I will definitely attend Z Law School.

Without scholarship amount of x, I will not attend your school.
