I am a 1L student who is likely going to withdraw from law school this semester. My grades are insanely bad and are not getting better for this semester.
Unfortunately, I accepted a significant scholarship offer to attend law school and am required to pay back scholarship funds if I withdraw mid semester. It is a fairly sizable amount for me and I am not sure if I can afford it, especially with the student loans that I already have.
Although I had planned to withdraw mid semester with a leave of absence on the off chance that I might want to come back, this puts me in a situation where I am considering just finishing the semester out, literally flunking all of my classes, so I am not forced to pay back this scholarship. Do you guys have any advice on options or alternatives? Thanks so much, it's been a tough time recently and I appreciate any advice given.

Why not ride the semester out and use that time to look for work?

Finish the semester at least. If you can put in enough work not to fail it's a little better in terms of not burning bridges. But at the least don't pay back your scholarship - that's crap.

That sounds like the best plan. Thanks for the advice.
