Importance of Admitted Student Days for Scholarship Negotation

Post by seagan823 » Thu Feb 04, 2016 3:35 pm

How important is attending admitted student days for negotiating scholarships? I am asking about both the value of sitting down with a financial aid person to ask questions and the subsequent value you believe the finaid department placed on your visit when negotiating via phone and email. Thanks.

Just wanted to check in to this thread. I am about to start negotiations and I would like to know if these visits matter when it comes to asking for more money? Also, when is the best time to begin negotiations? It is my understanding that there will not be much more money that opens up until people begin to withdraw. Any advice(or a link to advice in another thread) would be much appreciated.
