Lawyers with engineering degrees are rare and can often start at 190. Just get your JD for as cheap as possible (you should be able to get a +50% discount ... but try to keep within the tier 1).

How does one start at 190? I thought the patent law firms also start at the 160 starting @_@

While I was recently poking around a white shoe firm I was advised that if I had an engineering degree I could interview for a spot that started at 190.
