Need access Parent contribution Forum

Hi,

First, I am filling Need Access out right now but my parents have not filed their taxes yet. Can I just estimate like how I did for FAFSA?

Secondly, what do I put for parent's expected contribution to my education? Small as possible?

Thirdly, from my undergrad experience, I was always chosen for the verification process for all academic years. what is possibly triggering this? My dad is self-employed and mom, a housewife.

I estimated. I'm in the same situation as you as far as parents' employment. As far as expected contribution, that's so hard to know when you don't even know the amount of your scholarships yet. I wasn't sure what to put. I wanted to put $0, but I didn't figure that was believable, given that they helped me out all through UG. I ended up just putting down a bare minimum amount that I thought would be likely.

Idk what is triggering it, they've never had to verify anything for me; they always just say I'm ineligible. I know that doesn't help much.
