Need-Based deadlines while waiting for admissions

Post by sjp200 » Wed Jan 13, 2016 7:19 am

I got accepted to a few schools and noticed a lot of the need-based scholly's have march 1st deadlines. What should I do while waiting for acceptances/denials if they don't come by late February? Some of my applications were not sent until a week after scores came back from the December test.

Not sure what your question is. If youre talking about fafsa/need access, then do those and have them sent to the schools to which you applied. But again, im not sure what youre asking.

My question was worded a bit ambiguously I suppose.

There are many schools that were my safer options that I was accepted to that have alumni scholarships or need based grants that require forms being filled out by March 1st. My question is this: even if I end up not putting down a deposit for these schools, should I still fill out these forms beyond just the FAFSA while waiting for admission decisions to roll in from schools I am waiting on with 50/50 shots at getting in?

Oh i see. We were just thinking of two different steps. If you arent accepted before the deadline, youll likely get an extension for the deadline. But thats gonna depend by school so you may wanna call and ask.
