Anyone fill out and send in one of the PSLF employment verification forms yet? Do you get anything in return? Any way to confirm receipt?

Also, has anyone gotten a form completed for an Americorps position? Who signed it?

I have. (The PSLF verification.) I think they send you a message that you have a message in their online mailbox (at their website), and that message says they've received it. They're always slow but if it's been longer than a month or so it might be worth checking.

For those that sent in the form, did your loan servicer change to FedLoans Servicing? I have Navient and after years of misery finally feel like I know how to deal with them, so very hesitant about making the switch to a different (and very poorly reviewed) servicer.

Also, did anyone's school or agency loan repayment program require you to get your loans verified by your servicer? If so, any tips for how to get your servicer to sign the damn form?

I have FedLoans Servicing - it started out as something else (myedaccount? the Direct Loans servicing center? never had Navient) but got transferred a couple of years after I graduated. It changed before I sent in the employment verification stuff, though (and after I'd already been on IBR) - I was just informed of the change, but I don't think anything I did prompted it.

I certainly don't love FedLoans Servicing, but they aren't noticeably worse than their predecessor, and I don't think any of the student loan people are going to be helpful. (I will say when I've actually called them, the reps have been pleasant, it's just a horribly bureaucratic system.)

I have neither school nor agency repayment, so I can't comment on that. (School's income cutoff is lower than federal pay, and the VERY COMPLICATED agency application didn't seem worth it when 1) I had to match payments anyway and 2) I hope to get it all forgiven.)
