I already applied for the FAFSA back in January. Everything was completed and they gave me the estimated loan amounts.
So, how does one actually go about taking out the loans and specifying how much they would like to take out?
Also, is there a deadline for doing this?

The schools you've been accepted to/deposited at will provide a financial award letter which you can accept or decline (or reduce the total amount needed, if you saw fit.)

So if you want to reduce the loan amount, do you just contact them and tell them before accepting?Wingtip88 wrote:The schools you've been accepted to/deposited at will provide a financial award letter which you can accept or decline (or reduce the total amount needed, if you saw fit.)
