FAFSA first timer - stupid question. Please help. Forum

I havent heard back from my top schools yet. Most of them have a FAFSA dealine at the end of February.

Do I need to fill out the FAFSA before then or do I have to wait to be admitted?

I know Yale says that they would like you have all your forms in by March 1st regardless of whether or not you have been admitted. They want you to pre-admittance submit.

That might be the only one though.

Yes - FAFSA is different from Need Access or any school specific law school need-based application. The former is for loans, the latter is generally for grants. Each school you apply to will tell you specifically what they want.
