do I need to provide more than my 1040? Forum

I just wrapped up my taxes. In addition to the 1040, I've got some supplemenetal stuff like the page for deducting the interest on student loans. Do schools expect me to provide anything other than the 2 pages of the 1040?

Yes most schools ask for your full tax return which would include supplemental forms.

I don't remember all of them off the top of my head but I know Columbia and Cornell were on that list. You can look at the schools' websites to get more info

I would check the websites but I only know of Columbia and Cornell wanting the tax returns prior to a financial aid decision being made.
