Loan before start of school Forum

Hello all,

I have run into a bit of a financial hardship within my family, and the 5K I had set aside for moving/books etc is most likely going to be exhausted for medical expenses.

Is there a way to get a loan before the start of school? I realize that school loans customarily kick in a couple weeks after the semester, but I am wonder if there are any other options for me.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
