Negotiating over the phone?

Post by thislamp » Thu May 01, 2014 5:32 pm

The date for seat deposits is rapidly nearing and, thus, it wouldn't be practical for me to negotiate my scholarship via email. Has anyone negotiated their scholarship with the financial department of a law school over the phone?

Thanks!

I did it once, when the school specifically asked to talk about things over the phone. I can't imagine that you'd be able to get a response in time, though. That you're talking on the phone doesn't meant any particular person is going to be able to get you a real-time offer ...
