past loan default
how does past student loan defaults affect getting admitted to the bar? I had a student loan that went into default and I immediately corrected the problem and have made all the payments on time since. Does this past issue automatically 'bar' me from the bar?

They look at your credit report. It will be on it. Just be honest.
If it was pre law school it will be less of an issue than if during or post.
Even if you honestly F'd up, if it was pre JD and are honest with nothing else holding you back, you are fine.
