Public Interest Scholarships

My questions is if at this moment(applying to law school) I am interested in Public Service, and I want to apply for a Public Service scholarship award. If my feelings change during law school, for example I secure a SA during 2L year, will the school rescind the offer? I know this is pretty unspecific so if you are unable to give me an answer I understand.

Read the language of the specific award. I imagine it matters for some and not for others.
