So I'm around the median LSAT/gpa for UW. I was admitted a couple months ago and found out a couple weeks ago that they are offering me 0$ in scholarship. The dean emailed and said that they will re-evaluate scholarships after May 1, the deposit deadline. Should I wait until after making a deposit to try and negotiate? I have scholarship offers from Boston University, UNC, William and Mary, and UGA. I also plan on retaking the LSAT in June. I am just not sure if I should wait until May 1 to try to negotiate.
I am also wondering if I have any leverage to negotiate my BU scholarship. I was recently admitted to Boston College and am waiting to receive scholarship info. Do I have to wait on that before I can begin anything with BU? I am just getting nervous that the deposit deadlines are approaching and I don't want to neglect negotiating.
Any advice?

Re: Negotiate scholarship with University of Washington? BU?
Hey, UW admit here as well and it's my top choice (unless I finally hear from GULC and they make me a surprise $$$ offer). I'm at median LSAT and >75% for GPA. I was offered 10k/year. From looking through this year's threads and last year's, I've decided I'm waiting on negotiating after May 1st and putting down my seat deposit next week. Dean Le has been pretty clear with people who have been trying to negotiate in March and April that his office is not entertaining the idea until after May 1st and they've been consistent with that policy from what I've read. Several admits from last year reported that they had their offers revised up after May 1st (some were even unsolicited).lbrodsky wrote:So I'm around the median LSAT/gpa for UW. I was hesitant to wait because it feels like now is the time to negotiate because we haven't put down a seat deposit yet, but as I've said, from everything I've read, UW will negotiate after May 1st.
