Scholarship negotiation question

Post by thywizardofwit » Mon Mar 24, 2014 12:50 am

This may be a silly question, but what is the best way of showing one's school offer to another school when trying to negotiate? For the schools that sent out paper copies via snail mail, I can probably just scan the award document and attach it to the email I send asking for an increase, right? What should I do if I got a scholarship offer via email? I'm just curious about the etiquette/procedure here because I've never done it before.

for emails, is there a way to convey the information without sending the whole text of it? I'm asking because the text mentions an increase from School A and I think this might hurt me with School B.

Do people pdf the email rather than just forwarding it?

I don't know what the conventions are, but I attached a screenshot PDF. No one seemed to scold me.
