Fordham

Hi all. I have received a 20k need-base grant from Fordham. I was wondering what the protocol would be on asking for merit-based? I have a 15k/year merit-based offer form W&L, and maybe another school. Do you think this would be rude to ask for merit base when I have 40% of the tuition covered through need base? I mean even if they say 5k merit base or 3 k... that still 70-75k that I save. Please advise. Thanks so much.

Oh! My numbers: 3.1 (3.4 LSAC) and 155 LSAT... URM. Biglaw experience, strong softs and letters of recommendation.

It can't hurt to try. Law Schools have plenty of money, and no one wants to have to much of that debt when they're done. The worst thing they can say is no. They're not going to rescind their offer.
