Hi everyone.
Due to various issues on LSAC's end, my file did not go complete until very late in the cycle (Feb 1st, although I received an acceptance from Michigan without a complete CAS file - long story). So far I have received acceptances from NYU, Michigan and WUSTL. How long does it usually take for these schools (or law schools generally) to release scholarship info, does anyone know? I received the NYU and WUSTL offers a week ago and the Michigan offer 3 weeks ago. No mention of scholarships from any of the schools, and on my admitted student page for Michigan it states that I have no $$ awards.
In another thread here, someone mentioned that applying late = less scholarship money, which definitely makes sense, but I would imagine that I should be able to get at least a little money from Michigan and other lower T-14s I applied to... I'm just not sure when to expect info about scholarship money from schools. Thanks!
When do merit scholarship offers usually come out? Forum

Your question is too broad- all schools don't operate on a standard timeline for award notifications- it varies from school to school, when you applied, when you sent in all your paperwork, whether you are a highly competitive candidate or not, whether or not you applied or are int he running for a named scholarship, whether or not you applied for need and merit based aid or just merit, etc.cyclical wrote:Hi everyone.

With regards to NYU specifically, if you apply for merit based only and submit your FAFSA, you should receive a decision in 2 weeks of completion, and can go to https://faaps.law.nyu.edu/studentmain.html to view your status. If you applied for merit and need aid, it takes longer. If you are in the running for a named scholarship, it takes longer as well.
