Berkeley requires applicants to provide parent information on the FAFSA, but most other schools do not. Is it possible to submit two different FAFSAs - one to Berkeley with parent information and one to other schools without parent information?

I was just wondering about this as well. In Berkeley's email it says parental info is needed when applying for need based grants. That all makes sense but everywhere else I have looked and have read everyone says that you never need to report your parents info for FASFA. It's more for the Need Access, etc.

So my question is, if you know that your parental info is going to disqualify you from any need based grants then is it worth the time to send another FASFA to Berkeley that has it included?

Any insight would be awesome!
