Divorce before applying?

My wife makes decent money, but we have separate finances, so I will be paying for LS on my own. Would getting a divorce qualify me for more aid, or is it not worth the trouble?

Yes it would....but what would that do to your marriage relationship. Law students already have a high divorce rate. I wouldn't make it any easier to break up if I was you.
