I suspect that you will find that you payments before law school could count towards releif of your undergrad loans, but not your law school loans (as these did not yet exist).
It is possible that payments made on your 1L loans could count, but this will not have any impact on loans that you take out after these payments.

I believe that a consolidation is treated as a new loan, hence any previous payments no longer count towards your 120.
