So, I got into the school I really wanted to get into (Northwestern) today and I even got a scholarship! Awesome, right? Except I can't get an American loan to cover the rest because I'm a Canadian. And Canadian loans are limited to 80k over three years.
So... am I just shit out of luck here? I'm pretty sure I'm shit out of luck...

You are out of luck, yes. Your only option is to talk to Northwestern and see if they can give you any aid directly, but your chances on that one are not at all good. You lose nothing by asking, though.

I assume you don't have any family in the US who would cosign for you on private loans? Are private loans from Canadian banks an option?
