So I was tinkering around with the GULC loan calculator and I inputted the tuition and personal savings in a way where I would only need to take out the maximum amount for a Stafford Loan (20,500). Yet somehow, it also puts me down as taking out $214 in GradPlus loans. I'm confused as to why I need to take out that extra $214 via GradPlus when I'm only taking out 20,500 total (hypothetically). This, btw, is not under "Expected Student Loan Balance at Repayment," but under "Student Loans Borrowed."
Anyone have info on this?
