How much financial aid from T14 can one expect outside HYS? Forum

Does anyone have data or general idea on which schools give the most (if any) outside HYS?
I'm talking about EFC of 0, no parent's income/property, straight out of undergrad (no job), etc

For the most part, you will get the merit-based aid you deserve as determined by your GPA and LSAT. Need-based aid is...not much of a thing, even if some schools claim to consider need as part of the equation.

(Insert obligatory "BUT I GOT NEED-BASED AID AT SCHOOL ABC SO UR WRONG!!!!")

There are exceptions. It is not wise to bank on being one of them. Mostly, you get what you'd predict from your numbers.
