Can I negotiate using a WL offer? Forum

Hi everyone!

I just got WL at Chicago. It's super unlikely that I'll get in but if I do, could I use this WL offer to negotiate with a lower ranked school? Or does the fact that it is a WL offer make that impossible?

If you get in then it doesn't matter if you were in via WL or regular for negotiating with other schools. It actually doesn't matter for anything. In = In, with the one exception being In via ED.
