got a letter regarding my DIRECT PLUS loans..what?! Forum

hi guys

after filling out student loans.gov promissory note and counseling test.

i just got an email saying ive been approved for the DIRECT PLUS loans (or something of the nature)

i just got two questions

1) does this mean ive been good for both grad plus AND the direct unsubsidized loans?

2) what do i do now? its too late to call my school on this day

Grad Plus Loans are credit based, so you would receive a letter indicating approval of that loan. Stafford loans are non-credit based, so basically once you apply, you will receive that money once your school certifies the loans. Since there is no credit check for Stafford Loans, there is no approval of the loan.
