Retirement Plans

Post by Kring345 » Wed Apr 04, 2012 9:42 pm

How do those of you interested in BigLaw intend to plan for retirement. Is there a good alternative to Roth IRA since big law salaries are over the maximum threshold for Roth IRA contributions? Im assuming most firms have 401k plans, but any financial wizards out there? Obviously debt is going to affect your plans.

Just wondering. I maxed out 2012 today, so it got me thinking about this kind of stuff.

After-tax IRA contribution---> Roth conversion

Also Roth 401k deferrals if you really want Roth money.
